The Harrison House, 546 Prideaux Street, near downtown Nanaimo, was built in 1892 as the residence of Judge Eli Harrison Jr. (1852-1930), a Past Master of Vancouver & Quadra Lodge No. 2 in Victoria.
The building is listed on the Canadian Register of Historic Places and the City of Nanaimo Heritage Registry.
Eli Harrison Jr. was a long time resident of Victoria but had this house built after he was assigned to be a judge in the B.C. Provincial Court in Nanaimo. Judge Eli Harrison lived here until his death in 1930. His father Eli Harrison Sr., was a Past Grand Master and also a member of Vancouver & Quadra Lodge No. 2 in Victoria.
