We contacted the Grand Lodge of Scotland about William Adam and received the following information:

- Initiated 26 September 1905 in St. John’s Killwinning, No.22
- Passed 24 October 1905 in St. John’s Killwinning, No.22
- Raised 7 November 1905 in St. John’s Killwinning, No.22
William Adam is buried in Bowen Road Cemetery, Nanaimo, B.C.
On 19 December 2015, R.W.B. William Adam’s Past Master’s Jewel was presented to W.B. John Bradburne (Worshipful Master of Ashlar Lodge, No.3 in 2015) on his installation as Immediate Past Master for 2016.
